‘Ending tyranny in our world?’ – In this outwardly ostensible and hollow rhetoric, the expression ‘our world’ demands an emphatic scrutiny. Today, our world spends a whopping $1trillion on defence, of which US alone accounts for 47%. Uncle Sam is the biggest offender, with not only gross and disproportionate spending of its own, but subtly forcing others into the vicious loop by transferring weapons of warfare, more than any other country in the world.
